What Are Logical Factors To Consider When Purchasing A White Markerboard?

without comments

FACTORS TO CONSIDER WHEN BUYING A WHITE MARKERBOARD:

Any person willing to buy whiteboards should consider the following before a purchase. First,   there is the ratio of the cost of the components  to the value of use. Our buying power affects what we can and cannot afford so the cost is important when weighed against the intended goals and usefulness of the product. For instance, you generally wouldn’t want to spend $1500 on an electronic interactive board to use for creating and organizing a grocery list and conversely you wouldn’t want to spend $25 on a basic whiteboard to teach your seminars. So depending on the intended use, the cost of whiteboards are directly related to their quality. Ideally, going for the cheapest may translate to getting a bad quality. So the buyer strikes a balance between the two factors depending on their particular goals.

Another factor to be considered is the learning environment in which the markerboard is to be introduced. Will the learners be receptive to the device? Do they have enough tech savvy? Have the instructors been adequately trained to handle the equipment? It would not make sense to impose a device where the stakeholders are unable or unwilling to embrace it.

Whiteboards should not be bought if they’ll be used just for a day and become redundant. It would not make sense to buy something that will become irrelevant before its full potential has been realized and full benefits realized and whiteboards are no exception.

If purchasing whiteboards is  a joint project the receptiveness of all  investors should be considered. For instance, How will parents, business partners, and community sponsors  respond to the request to funding such a  large school project? And at what cost will they feel most comfortable? If you live in an area where parents fund school projects, it is important to explain  with hard facts why a $2000 interactive board is really a necessary purchase.

Therefore , all the above factors come into play when one is considering buying a whiteboard. Each and every consideration should be put into perspective as collectively they influence the quality of the item you will eventually buy and the extent to which it will serve the intended purpose.

When it comes to putting together the PowerPoint slides for sales presentations, presenters usually sit and type everything they say. If it's all here in black and white, they pass their slides on a colleague or a team member who also share the stage. That person adds a few slides – to ensure that all text, all graphs, all graphs, and all the bullet points they do not want to forget.

But that's not all. Marketing has been warned and they will send you a few key slides. Then reminds you to please include your manager that you used last summer during the meeting that everyone loved. Before you know it, you have a presentation that grew like Topsy – without cohesion without flair, and without a coherent message.

PowerPoint slides are a visual aid to support your oral delivery – not to replace. Good slides are good pictures. They are a visual representation of what you're saying, appealing to look at and easy to understand just by looking at them. They are an improvement, simplification or an addition. They do not require interpretation, explanation or reading.

A presentation is a performance and you're the star. Your slides should help your story – not to tell your story for you. That means you must cull your slides, eliminate all but the most essential. Each slide is just a bunch the text should go. Each slide that you have included "just in case" should be discarded. Remove all slide a long explanation, a slow read or need a magnifying glass. If you need some text, eliminating complete sentences and use keywords alone. Use bullets sparingly and make sure they are grammatically parallel.

The fact is, you're the presentation, your slides are not. If all you want say on your slides, you lose your animation, your spontaneity and your ability to connect to your audience. What is worse, you lose your audience – if you lose the sale.

Of course it is important to choose an attractive background and here are some suggestions to help the good to get.

Professional tips for high-impact slides:

  • choose a dark color – never use a white background
  • to a background image dimension and depth to the display adds
  • use pictures that are a metaphor for your message
  • photoshop image and use an appropriate background for the whole slide – not as a small insert
  • use the largest font you can – the best 72 points, is least 36 points
  • no cheesy clipart images
  • strive for consistency – pictures that help tell a coherent story
  • get professional help or buy professional images where professionalism is important to you.

Also many people spoil a potentially good presentation with too many words. Good slides are simply a visual art that captures your words in a compelling image. Just the picture.
