What Is An Electronic Teacher Bulletin Board And How Do I Get One?

without comments

The electronic teacher bulletin board was created as a better alternative to the traditional teacher bulletin board. These particular boards are large displays that sync a computer and projector. Ideally then the electric board is mounted on a door stand or a wall. The computer then creates a replicated image on the board of the PC desktop where the instructor or educator becomes the interface between the computer and the electronic whiteboard.

Instructor Benefits:

The question of whether or not they are worth the value of a purchase would obviously come down to the usefulness both the educator and students place on the device. As far as the educator using this kind of device can make their job  much easier; They allow the instructor to store notes and annotations electronically in different transferable formats so they save a great deal of time.

Learner Benefits:

For students the value is also immense seeing that they can access the lessons in the form of digital video files for continual review, make up for missed lessons, or step by step tutorials. The fact is these boards like all technology are tools and tools make life easier. They create a more interactive learning environment which heightens learning and cuts down the distraction of personal recording of information. Electronic whiteboards have been proven to affect learning and instruction positively, and are seen as an effective and advanced means of teaching.

So what’s the final conclusion? Electronic whiteboards are worth every dollar and every second invested in them and it is advisable for teachers the world over to embrace them as the next level of transference of knowledge in a class, home or business environment.

How Should I Best Choose Brands When Buying White Marker Boards?

with one comment

The first thing you need to figure out is what your board will be used for. Will it be for occasional use or for heavy traffic use? Once you determine that you need to decide whether you want a mounted board or a free standing board. There are two types of board’s melamine and porcelain steel.

The melamine board is for occasional use because the clear coat on the top tends to wear away after a while. The porcelain steel is better if you will be using your board on a regular basis. It is a little more expensive but it is better in the long run.

The next thing to decide is whether you are able to mount the board on a wall, or if you have the space you can have a freestanding board. If you are a teacher you may want the lap boards for the kids.

You may also want a white board skin, which is something you can put over the old chalkboards. The reason that most people have changed over to white boards is because they are chalk dust free, which is great for allergy sufferers and it protects the computers.

The main thing you want to look for in a white board is the sturdiness, the ghosting or fading effect and the durability. Check your budget and get the board that best suits your needs and your pocket. Once you have it narrowed down to the type of board you need, you must remember to take care of it so it will last a long time.

I Am Buying, What Is The Best Back To School Bulletin Boards?

with one comment

A Whiteboard interactive is a great interactive device that connects with a computer and a projector. The PC relays to the projector which then displays on the screen of the board. Users can either use a finger, pen, mouse, or similar device to navigate or write.

Many classrooms and learning environments now have them; for example electronic whiteboards can be found in executive meetings, cooperative and work groups, the quarters of the training for the professional sports and more. If you are looking into innovative back to school bulletin boards this is it and there are several advantages to upgrading to an electronic board instead of the standard whiteboard.

Direct Board Writing:

The interactive bulletin board can be accessed directly just like a blackboard with no messy erase and the touch screen is especially useful and provides more function and flexibility than traditional writing (so it is not necessary to resort neither to the mouse nor to the keyboard to interact with software).

The Great Size Of The Touch Screen Facilitates The Interaction With The Programs:

As I stated before that there are many more benefits involved using this electronic whiteboard technology instead of traditional writing. Well, one of the main ones is what you could call a triple interaction. For example: in a training environment an educator would stand before the computer and whiteboard, some students would also stand before the interactive slate and the rest of the class could be participating from their seats in real-time through software.

Associated Software For Electronic Boards:

Software provides new and increasing functionality: capture of images and screens, zooms, educative groups,

several resources, conversion of manual text to printed text. The interactive digital slate contributes to increased participation and debate, knowledge is transferred faster and attention is increased, retention and understanding of information is also. With more advancements in whiteboard technology it’s probably going to

become a necessity instead of an option before long. So now is the perfect time to upgrade for the students going back to school.

If you look around on your desk, what you see? Do you have the traditional desk organizers of your local office supply store? Did you get because of price, functionality, or because you should have?

Many entrepreneurs start out on their own, building their home office as a mirror image of what they left behind. Often finding that they do not enough wall space for souvenirs as they had when they lived in a cube. Perhaps it is not that they lack the wall space, but they had plenty of filing cabinets in their offices. Whatever the dilemma, it is the big picture of Leave It All Behind! You have the rat race to spread your wings, spend more time with your family, become more independent, and do not forget to the office and shoe strings cut.

Think outside the box when it comes to setting up your home office. Instead of buying a $ 7 plastic paper clip holder, why not find a nice dish or candle holder you have lying around the house? Better yet, stop by your local antique shop and see what you find. What are some other ideas for more non-traditional office?

6 Non-So-Traditional Organizing Solutions

1. Magazine Holders – Instead of using them to keep your magazines, try using instead of stacking shelves. You can a magazine holder for each customer or project you are doing. They will obtain a file, but books, magazines or other items you need to complete your project. If you are not satisfied with the color, throw on a few layers of paint or wrap them with contact paper or your favorite wrapping paper.

2. Adhesive Business Card Sleeves – Although this works well for the inside of a folder to keep the business cards for your customer or supplier, you can use to label things. Place a each file cabinet drawer and write on the back of some old business cards as in the tray. Use them on the back of the magazine holder so you know which client or project for.

3. Over-the-Door Shoe Rack – I have talked about this before and they are brilliant to use for office supplies. Simply put one on the back of your office door and you immediately have room for printer cartridges, extra pens, staples, tape, etc.

4. Coffee Mug – Why not use one of the many coffee mugs you in the house for your pens and pencils? It need not be a traditional one ugly, perhaps one of the more decorative mugs or if you really want to remind yourself of what you left behind using the coffee mug of your last employer.

5. Gift Cards – If you love your tag baskets, boxes, binders, or try using some of the colorful gift tags found in the store. Not only do they brighten up your room, you have something unique your environment your area. Plus it is a cheerful way of reminding you that there is work to do.

6. Metal strips – You do not necessarily have a cork board, even if you like to hang things where you can see them. IKEA has a great number of magnetic metal strips, 99 U.S. dollars for that to work spendidly hanging of notes, coupons, payments, or articles written about you and your effort.

Try not to worry so much about setting up your office to look like an office. You can find you more inspired to work when you feel that you are working for you and not someone else. The main part of working for yourself is to work with a work environment and one that works for you.

what happens if you put a wooden floor in a somewhat uneven basis?

I completed a solid oak sprung floor (panels) on a concrete base and have noticed that in some areas (about 4) the planks bow slightly when you walk on them. I guess this is because I lsightly an uneven floor. What will happen if I already have? Also according to the instructions I have pegs to place expansion joint 10-15mm along the edge. I have read that it can later be filled with a cork expansion strip? is this right or should I just take the gap and the pins? I'm new to this laying floors market so any advice is most appreciated. Thankyou

It would be ok to remove the pegs around the edge of the floor and replaced with cork and wood strips space to expand when the humidity is high. But the arc boards issue should be tackled with floor leveler compound, there must also be a moisture barrier between the cement floor and wood. Sounds like from then it would be best in the long term.
