"Thank you so much," Abby said sincerely. "No one has ever done anything like this my whole entire life." If only she knew what Jill's apparent motives were, which appeared to run much darker than just wanting to be kind. She suggested that it was her daughter Kendall's idea, and positively gleamed when Abby told Gianna to "put that Kendall right in the front."

Out in the waiting room, the other moms started to get a hint as to what was going on, with Christi finally getting up to take a peek. "You are buying Abby and Gianna right now," she said blatantly, escalating the argument already breaking out, but Jill had no shame about her tactics.

"You guys are okay with being second or last, that's your choice," she said matter-of-factly. At the mention of Christi's daughter Chloe being "second," Christi completely lost it, screaming in Jill's face, "You better not say that again!" through clenched teeth. Sometimes you've got to play dirty to get ahead.

The trio -- from India, Sri Lanka and South Africa -- share an apartment in the coastal town of Brighton. The seaside resort's vibrant gay scene should, in theory, make it the perfect place for Prince Manvendra of Rajpipla to find love.

Manvendra was the first Indian royal to come out publicly as a gay man, after which his family tried to disinherit him.

However, after mulling over an idea, Manvendra had an unexpected announcement to make: "Breaking news of the day!" he said "Manny is turning bisexual." Come again?

"I may be gay," he explained, "but I haven't actually had a girl in my life. So how can I say for sure that I'm gay?"

His roommate, Prince Remigius of Jaffna, looked understandably baffled by this change of orientation, so Manvendra tried to elaborate.

Up until now, he said, he'd always told himself he was gay, but now he thought he should double-check that by dating a girl for a change.

What did Remigius think he should do? "Why don't you try it," he suggested. "Then, because you've tried, then you know 100 percent what you want."

Cue the resident ladies' man, Prince Africa Zulu of Onkweni Royal House, who decided that Manvendra needed some tips for dealing with the local girls. He set up a role-playing exercise, with Manvendra trying to chat up a local girl. Remigius playing the girl while Africa coached from the sidelines.

Their ongoing feud simmered throughout Season 6 and into the post-Season "Reunion," but has the drama taken its toll on the pair? Could they now be ready to bury the hatchet and move on with their lives?

Tamra opened by telling Gretchen, "Neither one of us are angels in any part of this." For her part, Gretchen said, "I'm sick of being angry about it. ... I've spent so much time being angry about it."

As they pondered their feud, Tamra made an astounding announcement: "I was totally at fault. I apologize from deep in my heart."

Yes, you heard that right. For the first time in what feels like eons, one "Real Housewife" actually apologized to another one.

The women then sat down to share a meal and Tamra gave her former nemesis a gift. A pink bracelet -- is she branching out into jewelry design? -- with an attached key. They could use the key to either "lock up our past and put it behind us, or we can use it to open up our future as friends."

The chat ended with a toast: As Gretchen flailed for the right words to follow "Here's to ... " Tamra quipped, "no more bullsh*t!"

For instance, his dad used to do stand-up with his "Earth Girls Are Easy" co-star -- and future megastar -- Jim Carrey, so Carrey spent a lot of time at the house.

Being the zany comedian he is, Carrey found numerous hilarious ways to surprise the Wayans when they returned home.

"One time we pulled up to the house to park and Jim Carrey falls out of the tree onto our windshield ... no shirt on, and just slides down."

Less nerve-wracking perhaps was their next-door neighbor, NBA supremo Michael Jordan, who also used to drop by.

Sounding every inch the over-privileged kid, Wayans remembers thinking "Dude, I'm about to play with Michael Jordan, on my basketball court, he's gonna let me win!"

However, it turned out that the super-competitive Jordan didn't let him win after all. Having a famous dad only gets you so far.

"We've talked about we're trying to have a baby," Melissa said to him. "We've talked about we're trying to do all these things, and then at the first opportunity you put work first."

"How about me make time away from cameras," he suggested. But things got ugly when he turned it around on her. "I can't be rational with you. You're so hormonal right now and irrational and I don't know why you're getting pissed."

The argument escalated into cursing and Jason stormed out of the house. But before he left he went for a really low blow. "I am not Mr. Rivers. I am not your f*****g father," he shouted. "I'm not gonna end up like him."

Melissa's father committed suicide, so she was shocked and horrified that he would use such a thing as a weapon against her. Later, Joan tried to talk to Jason about this, but he wouldn't have it. He did show up for their next doctor's appointment with a whispered apology that Melissa appeared to have forgiven. Maybe he just needed some time away from the cameras himself.

In other words, the cameras are shaky -- except for several mounted cameras on the boat and when several are mounted in the trees during an overnight stay in the jungle in the second episode -- but there are more vantage points and with professionals at the helm, it's not nearly as chaotic.

HuffPost TV critic Mo Ryan listed several reasons to tune into "The River," along with several to avoid it. Viewers who tuned in likely were coming up with their own pros and cons. As Mo pointed out, though, this is an eight-episode season, so it's already a quarter of the way through its run with this premiere.

While the opening hour established the players of the drama, a mother and son looking for their husband/father lost in the Amazonian jungles. He was a beloved nature show host Emmet Cole, like Steve Irwin, who got mixed up with the magic of the river and its region. The premiere had them find the Magus, Cole's ship, which becomes the central point for their ongoing search.

There they discovered a strange evil spirit trapped in the panic room, which they accidentally freed, leading to the show's first casualty. In both episodes premiered, the primary "evil thing" encountered was equally dispatched or taken care of by the end, so the show is following an odd procedural horror format with the larger story arc of the search for Emmett Cole. Will he be found by the end of this first season?

However, Russell's sister, Laurie Armstrong Kelsoe has refuted those accusations. She has also said that not only was there no domestic abuse, but also that she believes Russell may have been murdered.

Andy Cohen asked Taylor about Laurie's allegations on "Watch What Happens Live" (Weeknights, 11 p.m. EST on Bravo), saying that according to Laurie "there's nothing that supports your accusations."

In response Taylor said that Laurie wouldn't have known about the state of the Armstrongs' marriage because she was dealing with her "own problems and complications" for most of that time period.

Supporting her claims of abuse, Taylor said "I have a titanium mesh implant holding up my right eye right now, so I don't know what more radiographic evidence you need than that."

Taylor announced that she'd had the implant back in October during an interview with KTLA-TV's morning show. During that interview she also alleged that her marriage was abusive long before the "Real Housewives" camera crew moved in and that she believed doing the show actually may have saved her life.

However, "Late Show" (Weeknights, 11:35 p.m. EST on CBS) host David Letterman managed to make him a little uncomfortable when he complimented his good looks.

As Denzel laughed nervously, Letterman said "I'm a heterosexual ... and even I was caught up in the conversation about how good-looking you are."

As Letterman treated him to some old-fashioned charm, all Denzel could do was to laugh (and change seats a couple of times). But then, when Letterman started stroking his hand maybe just a little too lovingly, Denzel quipped, "Dave, you've been working too hard. You need a vacation!"

Now celebrating its 30th year on the air, "Late Show With David Letterman" airs Weeknights at 11:35 p.m. EST on CBS.

What it really explored was Gibbs, and really everybody, wishing they could have it both ways in those tough moments. Why can't he have the great career saving lives, and the wife and kid? His old buddy Mike Franks came back, along with several other familiar faces, to help walk Gibbs through this realm of alternate possibilities, set in his favorite diner.

There he saw the family he didn't get to watch grow and flourish, the man he killed for revenge alive and well -- and the downward spiral sparing him would have sent Gibbs into -- as well as his mother and father and all the guilt and resentment wrapped up in those relationships. It was a family gathering filled with plenty of Easter eggs for longtime fans of the show. Newer fans likely missed many of the nuances or cameo appearances, or the emotional significance of many of the scenes.

But there was no denying the scene of Gibbs with his wife and daughter, as well as the pain they'd have gone through had they not died. Apparently, he would have died instead. All in all, it looks like the near-death experience taught Gibbs to let go of his guilt and learn to accept the decisions he makes. It should be interesting to see how this new outlook on life and his job impacts future cases.

With him gone, the former athlete stepped up as the new leader of the Red Team, developing tough routines based on Dolvett's training techniques. She kept the Red Team moving and competitive. But there was still division in the ranks, and at least two loudmouths who wouldn't stop talking. Adrian has been on the defensive since he got into the house, because he was immediately resented. But he's only made matters worse by running his mouth seemingly without thinking at all about what he's saying.

When Dolvett came back to them for the Last Chance Workout, he revealed that he'd been spying on them. He saw a lot that he liked, but he also saw a lot of complaining out of Conda, and a good deal of it about Adrian behind her back. Conda seems to be the kind of person who gets fuel from badmouthing other people. When she lost her initial target to elimination, she turned her attention to Adrian.

At the weigh-in, it was revealed that it is difficult to succeed without your trainer. The Red Team put up solid numbers, but they came up short against Bob's Black Team, and so they were sent to the elimination room. With Conda earning individual immunity, there was almost no reason to even go into that elimination room. Roy seemed the only one willing to give Adrian a chance, but Roy also doesn't seem to get involved in a lot of the gossip.

Final result was that after two weeks on the Ranch and never fitting in with his team, Adrian is gone. Their first chance to get rid of him they did. Conda's next target? Looking at the promos for the start of next week, it looks like it's going to be Adrian's sister, Daphne.

She was first in line when Kim showed up for the signing. Everything was going well, until Mandy asked if she could hug Kim, Kim agreed, and then Mandy proceeded to knock over most of the books on Kim's table trying to get to her. She never got to hug her idol, but she did get to sound and look like a crazy stalker as security pulled her away.

After the video of her meltdown was featured on a tabloid TV show, Mandy was distraught and hiding under a blanket when Kim surprised her by showing up at her front door. With a camera crew, of course. She was there to give Mandy some advice. When you're feeling down, what's always there for you is family. It was a great moment, and Kim was glad they captured it on camera. She then gave her crazy stalker fan some empty promises about getting together sometime in California and got out of there before Mandy got any crazy ideas in her head.

While there, she may have revealed that there were four people living in the apartment, when there are only supposed to be three. A heads up about that from the guys could have saved them the landlord's quick arrival and Schmidt's sudden transformation into a foreign visitor with the worst accent ever -- no idea where he was supposed to be from.

But he's not a bad guy, right? So Jess pressed him about fixing up some things around the place, and he actually agreed to it. Nick, who everyone agrees is the most negative of them, sees the worst in everybody. And he saw in the landlord a desire to get in Jess' pants, thus being so nice to her. What neither of them saw was that he in fact was ready to get it on with both of them.

But Jess still hung onto her belief that he's a nice guy, just hurting after a failed marriage. Nick wanted her to admit she was wrong, and suddenly both of them found themselves entertaining this ridiculous idea of a threesome with the super. It got as close as Nick about to kiss Jess before she finally admitted she was wrong ... about this one guy.

"We were fighting really bad and you weren't being affectionate at all. I was drunk ... " she says, avoiding Corey's sad, crazy eyes. "Was your ring on your finger, or did you take it off for the night?" When Leah admits she wore it during her indiscretion, you can hear Corey's heart download a bunch of Dashboard Confessional and then shatter.

Leah doesn't expect him to forgive her again. (She cheated before, too.) "You deserve someone who can appreciate everything that you do," she says, which shouldn't be hard considering the past 100 episodes chronicled how he doesn't really do anything.

Leah goes to her mom's house to give Corey some space. She has no clue what he wants, but he certainly does. He's cried his last tear, and he can't look past the trust issues any longer. He tells his dad all roads lead to divorce.

Meanwhile, Leah's texting him off the chain, and though he replies "No" to "Do you even love me," she still thinks they can figure it out. (What? There are, like, a lot of ways to interpret that!) It's not until he says he has a lawyer that she realizes the gravity of the situation -- and begins to fear that he could get the children. Though she sobs when she tells her mom what she's done, she sobers up quickly. She dug her grave. Now she has to lie in it (without Robbie, preferably).

She Googles "West Virginia lawyers" and finds Lyne Ranson's snazzy site. Lyne discovers that Corey has not filed for divorce yet, so Leah can actually petition him and "be the one who's driving the but; not the passenger." Lyne does not mention, however, if the wheels on said bus go 'round and 'round.

KAILYN
Jo decides he'd like to start weekday visitations because his album is about to drop and he's very busy recording "Watch the Crib" or something equally amazing on weekends. That means Jo, Kailyn and Isaac will have unsupervised playtime together instead of just seeing each other briefly during baby drop-offs. Boyfriend Jordan has a "bad feeling about it." About two minutes into their first family visit, it's obvious that Jordon is related to Miss Cleo.

Kailyn asks Jo if he wants to "order a pizza and hang," which is like girl code for "I'm still obsessed with you." She's jealous that he already has plans that night to see his "groupies." "I can't help it that I have a big heart," he says. "You don't have a heart!" Kailyn replies. "Feel it!" Jo orders. So Kailyn does, which is weird, and then she accidentally says "I love you" as he leaves and it's obvious that "weekday visitation" is boy code for bowchickawowow.

A switch has flipped inside Kailyn, and she's thinking a lot about Jo. Poor Jordan is worried that he's losing her, and even she can't blame him. She knows her new relationship status is "It's Complicated," and when she hugs Jordan to assure him that everything's fine, it's hardly convincing. It's not until she and Jo give Isaac a bath during their next visit that she looks truly content.

Maybe it's because Jo says he'll drop his child support appeal, or perhaps a clean baby plus reading "Humpty Dumpty" is incredible foreplay, but Kailyn flops down on her bed and tells Jo he can stay over. Let's hope all the king's horses and all the king's men remembered to take all their birth control.

JENELLE
Since Jenelle can't shmoke the weed, see friends with pending charges or hang with Kieffer, her main activities are breathing and looking around at things.

Now that her weed haze has lifted, she seems to be thinking more clearly. She suddenly realizes that a year without contact does not a good relationship make. "I can't hang out with you or I go to jail," she explains to Kieffer. (As far as "legit reasons to split" go, that's pretty good.) Faced with the loss of his pothead princess, no words beyond "I feel you" can properly sum up his emotions. So Jenelle bids him a robotic goodbye, and the angels mourn their end.

Without anyone to talk to now, Jenelle turns to Bahhbrah. "I'm always depressed and unhappy now, and weed made me happy," she admits. Bahhbrah takes a minute to register this strange sound that isn't yelling and says maybe it's "tahm to seeahk some prahfessionahl help." She chokes back sobs as she reminds Jenelle that she must nip all her terrible problems in the bud. (Pun so totally intended.)

Though she's worried that being in rehab will keep her from Jace, she tells her lawyer she's ready to make the leap. He finds one in California that will help her deal with her stress issues and drug addiction. Though Jenelle talks it through with a friend and expresses some basic hesitation, it's obvious that she's desperate to get away. Nobody truly wants to live such an awful, unstable life.

Bahhbrah enjoys a nice glass of red wine as she waits for Jenelle to finish packing and go to bed the night before her flight. Since she's probably kinda drunk -- and also because god speaks through her -- Bahhbrah says, "The day has come, and it's time." Then the earth stopped spinning and they hugged.

At 4 a.m., Bahhbrah whispers, "Your cab's heah!" in a teeny tiny "Jersey Shore"-inspired voice. As she watches her daughter go, she looks very tiny and sad. Regardless of their awful fights and the endless cycle of violence, that's her baby -- and she'll always be rooting for her.

CHELSEA
Now that Chelsea has a job (she even wrote her first leopard check!) she's ready to get her "poop in a group" and take that GED she's been talking about since the dawn of man.

The test isn't as simple as she originally thought; it's divided into five sub-groups. "I'll tell you what I do good in," she says to her sparkly friend Erika. "I'm good in language arts. I know how to talk and stuff. I'm bad at history, science and government. Reading, I rock that. Math sucks ass. I'm ready."

Somewhere across town, her ex-boyfriend's Chelsea-Happiness-Meter beeps. She's doing well, so it's time to drop in for some self-esteem crushing! He calls to say that, after ignoring his daughter for a while, he'd like to have her overnight. Chelsea's understandably hesitant, so Adam reminds her that she can trust him. He's just "going to be at my farm alone, with her crib in my room." Since that sounds like the plot of a low-budget horror film, Chelsea refuses. Adam proves he has matured by cursing her out and hanging up.

Chelsea refuses to let Adam bring her down. She studies and prays to the leopard gods. Two hours after the practice test, she finds out that she passed! Now, she can bypass all the prep classes and just take the real exam. She's this much closer to her dream of going to hair school and opening a salon with her mom. Let's just hope Adam doesn't return to mess up her well-grouped poop. (Like, yuck.)
